BARC Connects, a world-class direct-to-home fiber internet provider in the Shenandoah Valley, needed to get more customers to sign up for their services.
Solution
When we met with Tish Blackwell, we listened as she shared the reluctance of the community to embrace broadband internet services.
After seeing BARC Connects’ marketing materials and their cartoon dog mascot, Butch, we knew we had a solution for them. By using animation, it was the perfect opportunity to make him the hero of their clients’ needs and to bring him to life.
Result
Shortly after launching the first animated Butch video, BARC Connects saw an increase in information requests, current customers added internet service, and new customers signed up for fiber direct to the home.
