Humanizing Videos Drive Recruitment Efforts for Private Elementary School

Challenge

Anna’s House School, an inclusive and premier private elementary school in downtown Staunton, faced a significant challenge: a lack of awareness about their organization. This lack of visibility not only left many students without access to their enriching education program, but also hindered the school’s ability to increase enrollment and attract talented teachers. By addressing this issue, Anna’s House aimed to become the Pre-K through 5th grade private school of choice in the area, helping more students benefit from their strong curriculum and emphasis on quality character education. 

Solution

To tackle Anna’s House’s awareness challenge and their pressing need for student and teacher recruitment, we partnered with them to create a series of humanizing videos designed to resonate with the community. We envisioned and produced custom videos that effectively raised awareness of Anna’s House, showcasing the school’s unique aspects and creating interest among potential families and educators. These videos included a Recruitment video and a Fundraising video which were then broken down into shorter pieces for sharing across social media: 

Recruitment Video 

  • For potential students and teachers, this video highlighted Anna’s House’s blend of strong academics with learning through play, offering an engaging environment where children thrive through hands-on activities. Testimonials from teachers and parents underscored the benefits of small class sizes, individualized instruction, and holistic development of mind, body, and spirit. 

Fundraising Video 

  • For potential donors, this video highlighted the impact of contributions on the school’s ability to provide high-quality education, support teachers, and offer scholarships and financial aid programs. The message was clear: investing in Anna’s House means investing in children, educators, and the community, fostering a diverse and inclusive educational environment. 

Results

The targeted video campaign has provided Anna’s House with the opportunity to significantly boost their visibility. This increased exposure has the potential to drive higher enrollment and attract more qualified teachers. With these impactful videos, Anna’s House is well-positioned to capitalize on their enhanced profile, supporting the growth of their student body and faculty.
