Food and beverage manufacturer uses recruitment marketing videos to expand prospects’ facility knowledge.
From the Client
“We partnered with Appeal Production to create content that could be used for our internal and external company needs and were pleased with our finished product. We appreciate the Appeal team’s ability to capture our vision and make it a reality.“ – Ben Entsminger, Human Resources
Danone North America, a leading global food and beverage company, was facing two challenges:
- Potential employees didn’t know what happened inside the building, causing them to not apply;
- Senior leaders at corporate headquarters wanted to see the newly expanded facility at the Shenandoah Valley location, yet having them travel from all over the world for an in-person visit costs money, resources, and, most importantly, time.
To help Danone improve its awareness with prospective employees and update senior leadership on the expansion, we created a series of facility tours to connect with both audiences. We worked with Danone to highlight the products they make (International Delight, Silk Almond Milk, etc…), how much they produce (A LOT), along with the equipment, production lines, and facility layout to effectively communicate all that happens in the facility. With two different audiences, normally we we wouldn’t recommend a ‘one-size-fits-all’ solution. In this instance, we recognized the potential employees and senior leadership wanted the same thing, better understanding about this facility.
Danone North America is now able to clearly communicate about their operations. Increasing hiring opportunities while reducing the resources and time lost from in-person visits.
